Westlite Dormitory Outreach
Today we were back again at the Westlite dormitory—this time to distribute free energy drinks to our migrant brothers. Following the medical camp we held on National Day, we felt strongly to return more regularly, to build relationships and to be the salt and light that Jesus calls us to be (Matthew 5:13–16).
As we began distributing the drinks, the crowd quickly grew—so many people, each with their own story, each in need of hope, dignity, and ultimately, Jesus. Standing among them, I was reminded of Matthew 9:36: “When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
I believe this is just the beginning of a new chapter. Our prayer is that these small acts of kindness will lead to great opportunities for the Gospel, where many will come to encounter Christ through word and deed.
I am deeply thankful for Pst. Dhamo and his colleague Daniel, who carry a burning desire to reach Indian migrant workers. Today we were able to make some meaningful contacts, and we hope to follow up with them in the days ahead.
Please pray with us:
That the seeds sown will bear lasting fruit.
That God will raise more laborers for this harvest field (Luke 10:2).
That relationships will deepen, leading to discipleship and transformation.
And if God is stirring your heart, we invite you to join us. The need is great, but the opportunities are even greater. Together, let us live out the Great Commission—“Go and make disciples of all nations”—including the nations that God has brought right to our doorstep.
