This Sunday at ALFC

 


Jeya and I were invited to speak at Abundant Life Family Church, Ang Mo Kio, this morning. Over the last few years, Senior Pastor Allan Ang, who has been my early mentor, has become like our "father'. He is always encouraging and cheering us on in the ministry. This man in his mid 80's, never ceases to amaze me. I pray that I will be like him when I reach that age. 

I was glad to meet Pst Lydia again, a gem in the kingdom of God. Very passionate and committed to God and the ministry. 

I spoke on making choices, the text taken from Numbers 12-13. I felt the heavy presence of the Lord during the service. I could see the whole congregation was engaged and many people responded to the message. It was the work of the Holy Spirit. 

It was also good to meet familiar faces in the congregation. As I was walking out of the door, one of the members came to me and said, "God will establish your ministry this year". 

After there service Sr Pastor Allan Ang treated us to great lunch. Rev Albert Pang and his wife Josephine also joined us for the meal. Good time of fellowship and discussion of the ministry. I walk away from the table with this verse that Sr Pastor Allan Ang repeated a few times over the meal as he was relating to us how God healed him from liver cancer. 

Ephesians 3:20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Can't ask for more.
