2 days Leadership Training in Bethel AG
It was my privilege to conduct the training at Bethel AG, Bangaluru. This is the biggest church in Bangaluru with more than 20,000 members.
I am coming to Bangaluru after more than 10 years. The city has changed tremendously. I am of the opinion that Bangaluru is the best airport in India. Very modern and super efficient.
About 35 participants attended the training. Most of them were in leadership roles in this church which had over 40 different ministries. The training was well received.
I am thankful to Pst Abraham Varghese for allowing me to conduct this training for his leaders. Pst Abraham and his wife were excellent guests. Such humility, I have not seen before. I learnt so many things just by observing Pst Abraham. In spite of all the success in the ministry and with more than 200 pastors under his charge, he was willing to sit and learn. There was no airs in his conversations, simple and genuine. He served me "like a servant". I was simple overwhelmed. No wonder God has blessed this man and the work he is doing.
I was indeed honoured to met the Founder and senior pastor Rev Varghese who started this church with a small congregation of 22 believers in 1983, to what it is today. Amazing testimony of God's faithfulness and mighty power.
Also thankful to my dear friend Rev David from Chennai who was instrumental in intitaitng this seminar in this church and for making all the arrangements. I am blessed to have great people of God to partner and counsel us in our journey.
I also had the opportunity to visit Pst Anil's home, PEC coordinator for Kerala/Karnataka. The kids are all growing up fast and very talented. Thankful for the short time I spent with the family.
It's almost midnight and I am sitting at the waiting area for my flight back to Singapore. Thanking God for anther opportunity to witness His mighty acts and be encouraged and challenged by these "cloud of witness" to move forward, to fulfil His plans and purpose.
To God be all the glory.
