Another update from Odisha

Dear sir,

Yesterday we visited the site for the new church building. We prayed for the ground where the church building will be built.

After this we visited a small village where few people live on the top of the mountain.

Unfortunately, the village head didn't allow us to enter the village. Because their people said if Christians enter their village, then their mountain god will get angry & there will never be a good harvest anymore. We returned without meeting them, but we prayed on the mountain for the poor villagers.

If God willing, sure we will visit them again by any cost.

This time some senior pastors were with me.

Thank you, sir, for always keeping us in your prayer.

Reading such texts breaks my heart. These men are so passionate about the Great Commission. Even with sandals they tracked up the mountains to bless these people. And coming back with our meeting their objectives.

Very much like their Master, who was moved with compassion when He saw the crowds.

What will take us to see the implication of the Great Commission. What will move us away from our comfort zone, to see lost humanity? God help us that we will take His mandate seriously.

Ending Gospel poverty.
