Weekend at HighPointe - Klang

It was  an exciting weekend at Klang. Jeya and I took a bus from Lakin Bus terminal in Johor. The journey was smooth and comfortable and took us about four hours.

It was great joy to be back with Pst Steven Mohan and his wife Flora. It was Flora's birthday and we celebrated it with a good dinner. (Klang food is real cheap and good😂)

I preached in the Sunday morning service and my topic was "The Battle of wills". We contemplated on the event that took place at the Garden of Gethsemane, and how Jesus submitted to the Father's will. I believe it was God's word for the church.

After the service a group of members took us for a good "nasi lemak lunch", one of the best I have had, in Klang.

And as usual we always adjourn to a chendol stall by the roadside for the "best chendol in the world". Just a group of us sitting on stools under a shade of a cheery tree and good fellowship, reminiscent of the good old days in Naval Base. Looks like a senior citizen's club but it was fun. For some minutes we became children.😂

We had to rush back to the airport to catch out flight at 5PM. Thank God we were on time and I could go to work straight from the airport.

Thanking God for all the wonderful opportunities He is going us to meeting wonderful, like-minded people in this region. We are glad for the privilege to be part of His work.

To God be the Glory
