Celebrating mothers' day - A special indeed
This morning we celebrated mothers' day in PEC and what a special service it was. The church was filled again. We had some new ones as well.
The Spirit of God took her as we began to worship. The youths and the Sunday School put up a special item to remember the others.
Today we had Rev Patrick Lau, former General Superintendent of AOG as our special speaker. It was the appropriate message for the season as he shared from Mat 15:21-28. The message of entitled, "The mother's love knows no bounds". Many people responded in tears at the alter. It was awesome sight to behold as the Spirit of the Lord began to minster especially the mothers in need.
I realised after one year, God has not left this church as orphans. Let year we were stranded, left to manage on our own. When we are within the spectrum of His will, any deviations or miscalculations of the journey will be eventually readjusted and realigned by the Holy Spirit, to ultimately fulfil God's original destiny planAll things work for good".
This year, we are family and busting at the seams. In fact He took us by our hands and led us through the wilderness. "I will never leave you nor forsake you". What blessed assurance.
Watching from the back I realised it time to start the second morning service.

Pst Lau also prayed a prayer of dedication for the new church board as we take one another year of service. To God be the Glory.
Special mothers' day lunch. A treat for all mothers as the men from the church board did the honours of serving.
The day was not over as I remembered the two special mothers in our homes. God is bring our families back again. I praise God for all the mothers in the picture. God is so good. He is doing a marvellous work in my life and in PEC. My mum and my wife, the wind beneath my wings. Simply humbled.
