Challengers and Deborahs
Everyone of them had been hurt by the chain of events that happened in our church but deeply. But they all gave God the glory and praise for His faithfulness. The church did not dissipate but it had grown stronger and more united. Now we see the love of God, almost everyone putting their hands into the plough.
As the group prayed and interceded, I truly sensed the bond of love after a long time in PEC. The feeling is indescribable. You can feel the care and love these pioneer generation had for PEC. What a feeling.

I shared briefly on the one of the most neglected prayer warriors in the Bible, Anna in Luke 2:36-38. Many people were looking for the redemption of Israel. But only one person who spent day and night praying for the fulfillment of the promise. Although she was very old, probably about 103, she never left the temple, fasted and prayed day and night. She was the only prayer warrior recorded by Dr Luke during the birth of Jesus. What an honour.
I encouraged the Deborahs to preserver in prayer as we head for the new year. Next year PEC will be run the youths and we the older generation need to be in the background giving them all the support and advise.
- Abraham’s intercessory prayer saved the life of his nephew
- Hannah’s intercessory prayer changed the course of the nation of Israel
- Anna’s intercessory prayer had the effect of changing the course of the entire world
- Jesus intercessory prayer in John 17, changed you and me.
- The Deborah's intercessory prayer will change the history of PEC
