Mission Trip 22-30 May 10

Praise God for His mercy and grace. The trip went on well and we accomplished our objectives. It was very challenging and hectic journey. The weather was extremely hot. First time experiencing the extreme end of the Indian summer with temperatures hitting as high as 53 degrees C in some places. Even in the trains at 10.00pm in the night, the temperature was at 42 degrees C. But we survived. Except for some minor ailments, all seven members were in good health.

The team on arrival at Hyderabad Airport. From left first pillar, Rajoo, Evelyn Tan, Steven, Manesh, Mathews, Rama and Jeya. We were received by Bishop Nehemiah.

We dedicated a total of five new churches in five different districts in AP. Many of the churches are already full. God is adding many new souls. In some of the dedication services many villagers gave their lives to the Lord. Praise God for the hard work of our church planters. It is bearing good fruits. We thank God for all the sponsors of the new church buildings and the bore wells. May God richly reward them.

Church in Warangal dedicated in memory of Madam Kuttyamma, Sis Vimala's mother. A legacy that will be a house of worship to many people for a long time to come. About 20 people received Christ during the dedication service. A bore well was also built near the church and it provides free water to the villagers. A cool relief in the sweltering summer heat.

We conducted a pastors seminar and a Ladies meeting at Pst Gopi's church in Guntur District . About 60 pastors attended the seminar and 50 ladies attended the ladies meeting. Sis Evelyn and Sis Jeya shared in the Ladies 'meeting and many were blessed. They wanted the sisters to come back again. In the evening we conducted a gospel meeting. About 500 people attended the meeting and Pst Steven preached the word.

Praise God for all the opportunities and for adding many souls to the kingdom. Indeed we thank God for his protection on the roads and though -out the journey. Thanks to all who remembered us in prayer.

  1. Praise God, just like the psalmist said in Psalms 91:4-6
He will protect you like a bird spreading its wings over its young. His truth will be your armour and shield. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow during the day.You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark or sickness that strikes at noon.
Praise God for a His goodness and mercy.
