Mission Trip Accomplished - All Glory to God

Praise God for the tiring yet wonderful trip we had in AP from 3-10 Sep. Special thanks to all who remembered us in your prayers, especially the members of the Healing Room for their continuous intercession for the team.

The team of eleven departed on 3rd Sep at 8.00PM. The send off at Changi was simply grand with so many friends and family from PEC. We were indeed blessed with the presence of Prof Dr Lim, his wife Doreen and Chandra from the HI fraternity who prayed for the team before departure.

God's awesome presence was felt throughout the trip. All the team members were blessed to see the work of God expanding in AP, India. We achieved all out objectives in spite of the rainy weather.
  • The Pastors' seminar was well attended with about 70 of our workers and affiliated pastors coming together. Of course there are some challenges ahead of us but we remain focused on our vision and press on trusting the Lord.
  • The teachers' seminar was a blessing to the 40 participants. It was the first time we conducted this and our teachers really blessed to see the response from the participants.
  • The children's program were affected by the weather. Nevertheless many kids showed up. All the team members were drenched in the rain (showers of blessings) while making our way to the Rasoolpura slum. It was an experience for the team members to walk in the mud and flooded alleys.
  • 3 church dedications and what a joy it was to see the simple people rejoice before the Lord. The dedication service at Rasoolpura was exhilarating. About 400 people gathered for the ceremony and what a celebration. It simply blew us from our seats.
  • The field trip was good. Visited 3 village churches built by PEC. The team was able to see the work in the villages and how the work is growing. The team was simply overwhelmed by the village congregation, who despite of their humble surroundings, had such hunger and passion for the Lord and His House.
God is so good. All our financial needs were met for this trip in a wonderful way. God kept us save through the trip although there were a few "very near misses" on the India roads and no major health problems.

The work is growing and more needs to be done in the near future. Please continue to pray for God's direction as we look to the Lord for the way forward. Pray that a new younger generation will arise to take up the mantle.
