PEC Family Seminar - 24 May 14

Image
On 24 May, we had the first PEC Family seminar after a very long time ( as far as I can remember). More 100 people showed up for the seminar. It was a great time of learning and fellowship. Pst Joel took two sessions on "Big Picture of Marriage" and "Communication in Marriage" while I spoke on the "Christ Centred Family". There was a also a workshop session after lunch. I personally felt it was a very good seminar and we should organise more like this in the future. Everyone I spoke to said how much they were blessed by the seminar.   All Glory  to God.

At Bethany Chapel, Klang, this weekend

Image
Jeya and I visited our dear friends Stephen Chandran Mohan and family in Klang, Malaysia, over the weekend. That evening we had dinner at Stephen and some friends from the church. We had a wonderful time of fellowship. Sunday morning we worshipped at Bathany. The church has grown tremendously. They have moved on to a new premises. Felt the powerful presence of the Lord in the house. I shared the word on the topic : The resurrection Life - Setting new bench marks. The text was taken from Col 3:1-4. Many were blessed with the Word. I released a Word from the Lord. The church is like a tree with many branches. The Lord will make the church to influence other churches. It will extends its reach to other states and nations. Other churches will come to seek their partnership. Later Stephen shared that two others in the last month has also released very similar Word from the Lord and ours was a confirmation of what God is going to do in the church. This is so exciting.  St...

Return from Maui

Image
I returned home this morning. It was a privilege to facilitate BME for 60 participants from 31 countries in HI. Truly "God was in this place". I was particularly impressed to see Christians, well placed in  society and men in full time ministry, seeking God with such humility and passion. The atmosphere was one hunger for God and His presence was so real in the sessions. Men wept when challenged with the commission given by our Lord. I believe the men were impacted by the sessions and am thankful to God for the opportunity. It was also a time to meet old friends and men with like passion, sold out for God. The volunteers are truly gems in the kingdom, serving God with a servant heart. Prof Arthur and the team are indeed a blessing.  Not forgetting the "rocky road" experience with Larry and Dorothy Friesen.  Raffy and Pinky treated me and Ruel to a special  "Starbucks outing". And of course Prof Arthur, as always, served us over the weekend...

Trip to Maui

Image
Its 5 AM in the morning and I am at Terminal 2, Changi Airport. My journey continues. This time to facilitate BME at Haggai Institute in Maui. Its one of the best places in the world I have ever been. More importantly its an opportunity to impact leaders from many countries of the world for evangelism. 60 participants from 31 countries are arriving for the training. I am also excited to meet my friends and colleagues at the center. Men and women with great passion for the Lord.  Flight and transit expected to take about 30 hrs before I reach my destination. To all my prayer partners, thank you once again for upholding me and my family in prayer. Please pray that the participants will never be the same again after the training.  To God be the glory.

Mission Trip to Tamil Nadu :20-25 Apr 14

Praise God for His marvelous work. Although this was a short trip, we experienced God's protection and favor on the team. Truly we can rejoice with the words in Psalms 91:3-6: Surely he will save you   from the fowler’s snare   and from the deadly pestilence.   He will cover you with his feathers,   and under his wings you will find refuge;   his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.   You will not fear the terror of night,   nor the arrow that flies by day,   nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,   nor the plague that destroys at midday. 8 of us went on this trip. Rama/Jeya/Jecintha/Sarah from PEC. Bro James and his two freinds, Bro Paul Raj and Sis Reena. This is the first time our daughter Jecintha came with us in a mission trip. She was simply blessed. The objectives of  the trrp were as follows: V isit Shadrach Home. Assessment of the work and follow up actions taken. Seminar with church planters and...
