I really want to thank all of you who remembered me in your prayers for this trip. It was challenging yet fulfilling. It was also a great privilege to meet Samuel, Jagdish and Alex, HI Alumni from M1004, in Chennai. I was thrilled to know how God is using each of these men for His glory. On 2nd Sep, Pst John Signey, Samuel and myself traveled to three different villages in Thiruvannamali District, in Tamil Nadu where three of our church planters are reaching out to Sri Lankan refugees. In all we covered more than 400km. We left Chennai early in the morning and returned close to midnight. These church planters are working in remote areas and I was happy to see them reaching out to these neglected people. People have been coming for services and some have received the Lord. There are about 13 such Sri Lankan refugee camps in this state. This is one of the group that meets in a home of a believer. Sam and I shared the word to encourage the believers and the church planters. In this camp t...

HI Alumni Consultation Meetings -11-13 Aug 11

Image
The last few days in Chiang Mai, Thailand brought back memories of my first HI training seminar in 2006. About 60 christian leaders from 25 countries gathered in a beautiful resort, the Alphine Golf Resort, for this consultation meetings. Alpine Golf Resort in Chiang Mai is located in a valley between the mountain ranges of the San Kampaeng natural forest in northern Thailand. Most of them who attended were regional representatives and Alumni Association(AA) Presidents. It was so good to meet so many familiar faces and many whose names I had only heard but now seeing them in person. The consultations provided an avenue to learn from the others experience and also to know the challenged that they faced in their own countries as far as evangelism is concerned. I was also able to network with other AA presidents God has indeed blessed the Haggai Institute ministry with more than 83,000 trained alumni all over the world. Many participants reported how God has blessed their alumni...

The following is a report from our key-man in Orissa. We have 20 church planters in Orissa. Read and be blessed: "Dear Sir, Greetings in the name of Jesus. We are all fine here, hope the same with you. Last week I visited a new village with some of our believers where we got an opportunity to share the gospel to all those non-Christians. The name of this village is (deleted intentionally) in RAYAGADA district, which is 75 kms from my hometown. This village is located inside a thick jungle, 7 kms from roadside. There is no road even for a bike to reach this village. To reach this village we walk through the jungle, crossing a river. this people had never heard of our Lord Jesus. They were so eager and excited to hear from us. As we shared the gospel and prayed for them, they confessed their sin and completely accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal savior. An old lady of this village who is the main person also a witch, put her trust in Jesus when she heard the gospel from us. we ...

PEC Youths reaching out to kids during the AP trip in May/Jun 11

This clip was done by my wife Jeya. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Mat 19:14). These kids need Jesus and we are doing all we can to bring Him to them. Watch and be blessed.
