Weekend at Klang

This weekend, I had the privilege of ministering the Word at HighPoint Life. This time, Pastor Pathi hosted me, as Pastor Stephen was away in Port Dickson for the Haggai Experience.

Brother Jit kindly picked me up from the airport—it was so good to see him again.

Glad to see Pst Patti again and he had been a great host. I was especially glad to see Pastor Pathi’s wife, Usha. She has made remarkable progress—truly a walking miracle. Just a few months ago, she had a serious fall and had to undergo emergency surgery due to bleeding in the brain. It was a critical moment, but God intervened. Today, she can hold conversations and, though her movements are still a little slow, she’s improving steadily. God truly hears the cries of His people.

The Sunday morning service was wonderful. It was a joy to meet the members again, especially Flora and the other leaders of the church. I shared on the topic “Your Calling – The Purpose of the Pit.” Many responded to the message, and the Spirit of the Lord moved in a beautiful way. I was blessed as much as they were.

In the afternoon, Pastor Reni and his wife, Suan Sim, brought some lovely snacks and mangoes for me for tea—knowing they’re my favourite! They are such kind and thoughtful people with a deep love for God.

That evening, Jit and I decided to drive down to Port Dickson—almost two hours—to surprise Pastor Stephen. We had a great time catching up and also met Ashley, who was a participant in the Singapore Haggai session back in 2007 when I served as RC. It’s always a joy to see participants I once recommended now serving in key roles in the Haggai ministry.

We reminisced the good old days and appreciated the grace and mercy of God in our lives.

I left Pst Pathi home, early on Monday morning for the airport. And now, as I write this while waiting for my flight, I’m filled with gratitude and thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to be a blessing.

To God be the glory.
