Meeting likeminded people

This evening I had the privilege to attend the Haggai India AGM.

My presence at the meeting was nothing short of a divine appointment. On the morning of May 26th, as Jeya and I were going through the security check at the Chennai domestic airport for our flight to Tuticorin, something remarkable happened. Standing just ahead of me in the queue was none other than Brother Bastian from Haggai India. I was taken aback—pleasantly surprised—and quietly whispered, “Wow, what are the odds?”

As we exchanged greetings, I soon discovered that both Bro. Bastian and Bro. Dilip were en route to Hyderabad for their Annual General Meeting. What seemed like a mere coincidence was, in reality, the sovereign orchestration of God. It became clear that our paths had not crossed by chance, but by His design.

They warmly and insistently invited us to attend the AGM, and in that moment, I sensed the hand of God nudging us into something beyond our own plans. Truly, He orders our steps in ways we often least expect, and this unexpected encounter turned out to be a moment of divine redirection.

It was my great joy to meet many of the mighty men and women of God who are so passionate about ending gospel poverty. Most of them are highly qualified in their own secular fields and yet burning with passion for the Lord and His work. I have had the privilege of working with many of them in the international seminars and even in some consultation programs. I was just overwhelmed.

I was glad and encouraged to hear the reports of the achievements of the alumnus and the plans for the next few years. We need more people like this to end gospel poverty.

I had the distinct privilege of sharing my personal transformation journey that began with my participation in the Haggai leadership training back in 2006. As I stood before the gathering, I recounted how that pivotal experience not only deepened my understanding of God’s calling but also ignited a lifelong passion for advancing His Kingdom.

The impact of that training has continued to shape my ministry, leadership, and vision in profound ways. As I shared my testimony, I could sense the Holy Spirit stirring hearts in the room. It was evident that the story resonated deeply with the participants—many were visibly moved, inspired, and challenged to embrace their own calling with greater clarity and conviction.

It was a humbling moment to see how one testimony, rooted in God’s transformative work, could spark faith and vision in others. All glory to God, who uses our stories to build and empower His people.

I am glad to know that there is a mighty army out there working towards a common goal. To God be the glory.
