Facilitating V2008@V2009

For the last three weeks I had the blessed opportunity to facilitate the first Virtual Haggai Leadership Experience with Bro Valentine Davidar . We facilitated on the topic of Biblical Mandate for Evangelising. Bro Valen is a great teacher and a man of humility. A rare gem in the kingdom of God. I learnt much from him.   We had 30 participants from 12 countries for V2008 and 27 participants from 11 countries in V2009. Very good participants with a lot of  maturity and spiritual understanding   As this was my first zoom facilitation experience with HLE, I had many reservations on how it will work out. One of the key learning in Haggai was the personal interactive discussions and fellowship that banded the group together to pray and work together and I was not sure if  the zoom meetings will have the same impact.    But glory be to God. It worked amazingly.  We  joined the participants in their cohort discussion and it was v...

Meeting for participants of Haggai (M0818)

Today I had the privilege of speaking to about 22 former participants of M0818. Pastor Kalyan from Chennai  invited me to share and encourage the alumni on the Biblical Mandate. It was so good to see them and to hear of what God is doing in their lives and ministers. It was exactly two years ago we meet in Maui and I took the class on  Biblical  Mandate.  I shared on Jonah and many were blessed. To God be the glory.

A new opportunity

I was asked to speak to the leaders of leaders of the Pentecostal Church in Seoul, South Korea by zoon. The pastor of the church is Rev Neukpe from Ghana and he  as a congregation of African migrants who are working in South Korea. I met Rev Neukpe in Singapore in the year 2008 when I was the RC for the Haggai Leadership Seminar (as it was known then). SO it was good to reconnect with him. More than 20 leaders attended the session and I spoke on the Global Mandate given to the church. It was a good session. Glory to God

Incomparable love of God

Today I had the privilege to speak at Cornerstone Community Church  Thiruvananthapuram. Pastor Suresh gave me the opportunity. Although I had wanted to goto his  church  on many  occasions, my schedule did not allow me. This time because of the restrictions in travel and for the ability to meet on soon, it worked on fine. I was blessed.

Humbled and thankful.

I was humbled this morning to see the post in "Cornerstone Community Churches". I met Suresh in 2012 in Cheng Mai, Thailand during a Haggai International Seminar. From then on our relationship grew. This is what he posted in his church website. https://www.cornerstonechurches.net/about-us/apostolic-covering Simply humbled. To God be the glory

The Shadrach Home, Myanmar - A vision come true

Image
In 2016, Praise Evangelical Church, Singapore, adopted Shadrach Home, Myanmar. Two ladies, Khaw Shin and Martha, who were trained in our Church Planters’ Program in Yangon, are running this Home in a village called Tat Yan, Northern Shan State. Currently there are 33 children, their ages ranging from 3-17 years. All of them are underprivileged kids. Some are orphans, whilst others are with single parents or from very poor homes. Most of the kids would have ended up in the drugs trade or join the resistance force, if not for the Lord and this home. I remember meeting Sis Khaw Shin in 2016 at Myanmar Theological College when she was undergoing the church planters training. Together with Pastor John Phongshar and Bro David Kriner (a man after the heart of God and founder of MTC) we discussed about the Home and how PEC could help with the program. I believe it was God’s divine intervention that brought all of us together to fulfill His purposes on earth. The purpose of this...

God's faithfulness shines brightest in our deepest sorrow

God's faithfulness shine brightly in our deepest sorrow   Just as the brightest stars are seen in the darkest nights, one can only fully experience and appreciate the faithfulness of God in the crucible of trials and painful testing.     I read this story about Dr. Michelle Bengtson studied , a neuropsychologist who has own clinical practice in the Dallas area.    This lady went through one crisis after another in her life.  A potentially deadly childhood illness left me with physical disfigurement and petite in stature. The she lost her father when I was a young adolescent. After marrying and starting a family, my husband was given a diagnosis of a very rare form of cancer. Doctors told us to get our affairs in order because he had less than two years to live. At the same time, her mother was given a diagnosis of lung cancer and began her own treatment before ultimately dying from the disease. Years later, she succumbed to a life threatening illness. Put o...
