Equip Training - Session 2

Image
Today we had a better crowd. All set glued to their chairs for the two hours for the session. Today we discussed "How to know God's purpose for our lives" and How to overcome temptation". Praise God for the good feedback.

Twists and turns, In His time.....

It has been more than 4 months since the last "Tsunami" rattled PE Church. Surprisingly such phenomena are not new to this small church in a corner in the North of Singapore. It has seen worst storms than this. For me personally it was another twist in my life's journey. I am tired. I was dismayed and dejected, once again. Yes my "loving enemies" mocked me and wished me the worst, pardon me for the use of this superlative. The sad thing was even my good friends who had weathered worst episodes with me, took their heels against me this time (Ps 41:9) by hearing to one side of the story only. Not good decision making practise, I would say. So much for core values and trust. I am sure I have made some mistakes, who doesn't?. But my conscience is clear before the Lord and that matters.  But the turn of events really worked out for the good of this little church. Suddenly an influx of prayer warriors coming to church to pray at the odd  hours of the ...

John Maxwell Leadership Training - Equip

Image
Today I conducted the first lesson in the Leadership training. "How and When God call us". About 30 members attended the training. Praying more will attend he next session. Comment from one of the participants: Great session on Maxwell Leadership training by Mr. Rama yesterday! Extremely good and beneficial material. "Leadership is influence. The highest level of being a leader, is when people follow you not because of what you've got or what results you produce, but simple for who you are. Your life speaks for itself. "   - Jherine

Another church building in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh

Image
We praise God for another church building in AP, India. This is how it looked like when Bro James Ng and the team visited in Jan 15. It was just scaffolding and still work in progress. Yesterday at my bidding, Bishop Nehemiah visited the church. After about 7 months this is how it looks and the congregation is growing at a fast pace.  We rejoice to see the work of the Lord in such places. Its' still work in progress for the building and we hope to complete by next month. I stand amazed in His presence. Thank you Jesus for all who have committed to this course of fulfilling the Great Commission. Special thanks to Bro James and Sis Marilyn. And all Glory to God.

Mission Trip to Chennai and NE India.

Image
It was indeed a wonderful trip. We rejoiced to see what God is doing through the efforts of PEC and friends who are serious about the Great Commission. We were indeed blessed to see all the wonderful things the Lord is doing with His people. This trip was almost hassle free and we thank God for it.  Eight missionaries went on this trip. Bro Bertie Tan HS (second from the right) joined us from 3-5 Sep. The highlights of the trip were three church dedications, the dedication of the training centre in Assam and the graduation of the CPS from PEC School of Ministry in Jaigaon. The first church dedication was in the outskirts of Chennai. Pst Anantha Kumar had laboured in tis village for many years. More then 100 people attended the service. After many years and many challenges we were finally able to dedicate the church. Although the church was not fully completed, we praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. Bro James, the main spon...
