HI National Seminar - Klang, Malaysia

Image
Departure from Singapore Haggai Institute seminars have always been a blessing. This one was no exception. It was my joy to be at the HI National Seminar in Klang, organized by the Alumni Association of two chapters n the Klang Valley. I was there from 25-26 Jul. There were a total of 52  participants, divided into two groups. I praise God for the privilege to be a faculty for Biblical Mandate at tone of the sessions. Many of the participants testified how they have been impacted to do evangelism both locally and in the areas of missions. It was also a time of meeting old friends who share the same passion. True people of God. This is what Stephen Chandra Mohan (center) wrote in his facebook. " This is an extremely rare picture - and privilege. I am flanked by Rev Tay Wah Seng, my RC when I attended my HI National Seminar in 2009 ... and Bro. Ramachandran, who was my RC when I attended my HI Advanced Leadership Seminar in Maui in 2011. Two men wh...

Reaching the needy children in the slums

Image
'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Whilst PEC focuses on reaching the lost, we are also aware of Jesus's teaching in Mat 25:35-45. In this respect we do some social work, like building bore wells in the villages, running children tuition centers and a Boys Home.  This is the Mutfort Slum in Hyderabad. More than hundred children benefit from our program. We give them basic education and also share the love of Jesus with them.Praise God for the sponsors in PEC and Bishop Nehemiah and the team doing the great work. All Glory to God

Jecintha Reena graduates

Reena with her proud mom. Today our second daughter Jecintha Reena Ramachadnran graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with the University in Buffalo/Singapore Institute of Management. We thank God for his favor and helping Reena through these years of study. He met all our needs. So there are four graduates in the house and one more to God.  Well done Reena One thing is for sure. When you serve God , He does not short-change you. He is not a debtor.  I am reminded of the passage in Psalms 128:1-4 - Blessed are all who fear the Lord ,   who walk in obedience to him.   You will eat the fruit of your labor;   blessings and prosperity will be yours.   Your wife will be like a fruitful vine   within your house; your children will be like olive shoots   around your table.   Yes, this will be the blessing   for the man who fears the Lord . Weekend in PJ, Malaysia

Image
Over the weekend Jeya and I were invited to minister in SS Gospel Center. Bro Ritchie and his family hosted us and we were blessed by their sacrifice hospitality. On Sat evening a group of youths came to Ritchie's Home and I shared with them the details of the mission work we were doing in PEC. After the sharing some youths came and asked many questions about serving God in missions. It was heartwarming to see youths with a passion to serving God and reaching out to the lost. On Sunday we spoke in the main service. About 250 people gathered for the service. I felt God's presence in the meeting and I shared on the urgency of missions. After the service, many people told me how they were blessed and charged for missions. All Glory to God. That evening we met Jeya's sister Rani and family in PJ after a long time.  We had a great time of reminiscing the past. We returned to Singapore this morning ( as all tickets to Spore on Sunday evening were fully booke...

Living the resurrected life - Setting new benchmarks

Image
Col 3:1-4 - So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective - The Message Bible    This Sunday morning I spoke in PEC on living the resurrected life. The text taken from Col 3:1-4 . The text for three fundamental truths: 1.         We were dead before . Eph 2:1 - As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, Col 2 13 - You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Rom 6:23 - The wages of sin is death. 2.     Because Christ rose, we also were raised together with Him. We are no longer dead spiritually Rom 6: 4 - We were therefore buried ...
