Mission Trip to AP - 6-13 Jan 14

This is the first mission trip for the year 2014. Pst Joel, Sis Gaiety, my wife and I went on this trip. The main objectives of the trip were as follows:
  • Combined graduation of Church Planters
  • 2 Day PEC Church Planters' Family Seminar
  • 2 Church dedications
  • Sunday service in Rasoolpura
We also planned to have a gospel meeting and a house meeting but were canceled due to the tight schedule.

We stayed with Bro Mohan's family and as always, they were a great model of living like Jesus. Praise God for such God fearing people.

Combined Graduation

This was held on 7 Jan evening at Rasoolura Church. 30 students graduated from our three training centers in AP. It was a joy to see young people coming forward to serve the Lord. Pst Joel shared the Word. Over the last seen years more than 300 students have been trained as church planters, just in AP alone. Most of them are now Pastors and leaders in the different districts in AP.

Family Seminar

The seminar was a success. About 126 people attended the seminar conducted at CHAI, Secunderabad. Most of them were church planters and their wives. It was a two day stay-in program. It is the first time we had conducted this seminar and it was also the first time that most of them had attended such a seminar. All of us took turns to share the Word, focusing on family related issues. Every one testified how they had been blessed and challenged by the sessions.

Sis Gaiety sharing the Word. She was such a blessing to the participants. We thank God for PEC members who contributed to the conduct of this seminar.

 Church Dedications

The first dedication was in T Banjara village in Warangal District. We drove more than two hours hours from Khammam town to reach this village. Prior to the church dedication we had a baptism service in a canal where 5 people took the step of water baptism.

Our church planter Pst Joshua had pioneered this work in the village and it is the only church in that area.. This is the 51st PEC church  dedication. More than a hundred and fifty people attended the occasion. Most of them were from that same village. My wife shared the Word from John 4.

The 52nd church dedication was in a village called Karakugudem in Khammam district. We drove more than 3 hrs to reach this village. Pst Paul is our church planter in this church and about hundred people gathered for the meeting. It was a blessing to see this church dedicated to the Glory of God. They also celebrated our wedding anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise.

On Sunday morning, we worshiped and shared the Word at Rasoolpura church before heading for home in the night. It was a wonderful trip. We saw the work progressing and many people touched for God's glory.

PEC is indeed a church with a global mission. Praise God
