Ruth - Your God my God
Ruth 1:16 - "Y our God my God" Naomi and her husband's decision of straying out of God's boundary, left her lonely, depressed, empty and in despair. The consequence of the wrong decision also affected her daughters-in-law. Isn't this what sin does? John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. Naomi decides to go back to Bethlehem. But what influenced her to go back? Verse 6 - When Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had come to the aid of his people by providing food for them. God always respond when His people return to Him. 2 Chro 7:14 - "I f my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
