Pst Samuel reported that on 24th December, they had sweet fellowship with the believers of PEC Pana Bhutan, More than a hundred people attended the celebration with many pre-believers attending. Our church planter Pst Daniel shard the gospel message and the response was good. We pray that a good harvest will result from this event.   Also in PEC Pakhyoung Sikkim the Christmas celebration went well.  They have invited many the non believers and the church shared the love of God to their neighbors and nearby people.  After the Christmas message, they have Christmas love feast and cultural programs. Our church planter Pastor Rinchen is pioneering the work there. ALL GLORY TO GOD

In REMEMBRANCE of MR ROBERT PERIASAMY Jan 1930 – 17 Dec 2009 Four years have done by. My Dad, he loved the Lord, served Him faithfully and finished his race victoriously. Proud to be his son. We miss him but not for long. 2 Cor 5:17 It was 6.15 in the morning. My son and I took our annual pilgrimage to visit the site where my father's bones were laid to rest. It was a cool morning. Still dark. The weather was kind this time. Last year it was incessant rains. Today it was not so bad as we walked gingerly on wet terrain, trying our best to avoid muddy pools with the help of a dim light from the cell phone. The sounds of nature in the background was beckoning. The waters ebbed gently on the shore as I stood and reflected what my father meant to me. How time flies. It has already been four years. But memories are still fresh in the mind and in the heart. I thanked God for my father's life, his influence and his love for God.  I tha...

Angry? Is it worth it?

Pro 16:32 - Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. If you have had a career in the military, you will certainly agree that anger, impatience and revenge are celebrated virtues. These are the expected qualities of a leader in battle. You can't be a weakling and be in the forefront of battle. There is no room for soft words, kindness of patience in the battle field. I remember when I was a recruit during my national service days, the trainers showed no sympathy for the softies. Every sentence was punctuated with a swear or curse word. If you want to survive in a war, you need to have these "negative" qualities. That was how we were trained  But the Bible looks at these virtues differently. The above verse declares the man that is mighty is not one who infuriates with anger and impatience but rather one who keeps them in check. Such a person is even mightier than one who conquers a city. Its normally easy to s...

By this way we show the love of Christ to the needy and poor. The Christmas program included songs, skids, performance and a message of love by the Bishop. My wife Jeya and I went on this trip. The purpose of this trip was: Celebrate Christmas with the boys at Shadrach Home Meet our church planters for a time of sharing Bring some of the boys to a church planters work in the village and expose them to the ministry We arrived in Trivendrum on  2 Dec in the evening. Pst John Signey was at the airport to receive us. My friend Suresh, an HI alumnus, was gracious enough to arrange our accommodation at one of the resorts in Kovalam.  On 3rd Dec morning, we had a meeting with our 10 church planters. The pastors shared their joy and challenges in the church planting work they are doing. All of them are working in remote villages in Tamil Nadu where there are no churches. The main challenges were from hostile religious people. They have been threatened and even refused houses for rent. They religious fanatics also threaten other villagers from attending the prayer meetings. It was hurting to hear theses reports, especially t...
