Arrived Home

Image
I finally arrived home last night after a 22 hr flight and transit from Maui. It had been a wonderful experience, impacting the lives of 22 couples from the market place and the church. It had been hectic, being the Resident Coordinator and ensuring the program runs smoothly. But it was indeed a joy to see the lives being impacted, mindsets and paradigms changed and they going back to fulfill God's purpose for their lives. The faculty and staff had such respect and zeal for God's work and served with such humility. It was a lesson in servant leadership.   Also had a opportunity to share with the volunteers who served with much sacrifice and love.Dorothy and Larry were such a wonderful couple and we had "Rocky Road' by the pool one night.  "After what we have seen and heard, we cannot be the same again"

Half-way through in Maui

We are at the halfway mark in Maui. The participants are responding well to the learning. We have had some of the best faculty here. Having been in the company of many wonderful people of God, I released how small I was. If not for His grace, I will not be here. It was a joy to meet Dr Aldo once again, one of the few men who had inspired me in HI. I still remember the devotions he took in 2006 and the way he conducted the communion service. In spite of his dignified qualifications he was humble and committed to the Great Commission. Learnt many lessons from this man of God. Over the weekend, had great time Greg, Aaron and Nestor. We drove around the island and enjoyed God's creation God is working in the lives of the participants. Can sense the changes taking place. Glory to God.

Life in Maui, Haggai Institte

It has been five days since I arrived and how time flies. 64 participants from 17 different countries. By God's grace the program is progressing well. Participants are being impacted by the Word of God and challenged with the Great Commission. It was so good to meet old friends and colleagues from the HI family. It was so refreshing to meet people with the same mind and purpose.

Transit in South Korea

I arrived in Incheon,, South Korea on 8 Sep at about 8.30AM. From the airport I took a cab to visit Pst Paul In Kye who was one of the participants in M1102. It was a joy to meet hm and his wife. The church was in a rural area at the outskirts of Incheon city. Nevertheless the church building would outclass any of the church  buildings in the cities of India. I had the privilege of sharing in the afternoon meeting and also at the Old age Home. Praying for the sick in the church.

Maui - Here I come

Tonight I will leave for Maui for about three weeks. 62 participants from 17 different counties are coming for this Leadership Seminar.Being the resident coordinator can be challenging and a blessing. Please pray for strength. Pray that all the participants will be challenged with the Great commission. Also that I will be refreshed and strengthened to continue doing what the Lord wants me to do. Looking forward to working with a group of committed and sincere people at the mid pacific center.  At T2, Changi Airport, making the 33 hrs journey to HI Maui. Two miracles to thank God for: Was sick the last few days. Bad flu. Today I am just fine. Almost missed the flight due to wrong details keyed in ESTA. Last minute application was approved 20 mins before Gate closed. Praise God.
