Facing the Big Test - Part 1

Today I shared in the morning service. A case study in the life of King Saul 1 Samuel 13-14 Introduction Chapter 8 - The people ask for a king. A man goes to the greatest prophet alive and asks, "Where's my donkeys?" The prophet answers, "Don't worry, your donkeys have been found, and by the way, you're king of Israel." House destroyed by earthquake

We just got a call from one of our church planters in Sikkim. We lost contact with him for the past two days. His house has been destroyed in the quake. His house is destroyed but his spirit is not. His name is Paul. Please remember him in prayer. We need to help him to resettle.

Earthquake hits Himalayan Region

A magnitude 6.8 earthquake hit a remote Himalayan region in northern India on Sunday evening. Our Coordinator Pst Samuel felt the tremors at the Bhutan Border and reported that Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Assam and Darjeeling have been hit. The death toll is on the rise. Our church planters are all right in the different locations in NE India and Bhutan. Please continue to pray.

Mission Trip 1-10 Sep 2011

I really want to thank all of you who remembered me in your prayers for this trip. It was challenging yet fulfilling. It was also a great privilege to meet Samuel, Jagdish and Alex, HI Alumni from M1004, in Chennai. I was thrilled to know how God is using each of these men for His glory. On 2nd Sep, Pst John Signey, Samuel and myself traveled to three different villages in Thiruvannamali District, in Tamil Nadu where three of our church planters are reaching out to Sri Lankan refugees. In all we covered more than 400km. We left Chennai early in the morning and returned close to midnight. These church planters are working in remote areas and I was happy to see them reaching out to these neglected people. People have been coming for services and some have received the Lord. There are about 13 such Sri Lankan refugee camps in this state. This is one of the group that meets in a home of a believer.
