Historic First - Haggai Brunei
I was deeply honoured to serve as a facilitator for the very first Haggai National Seminar in Brunei—a truly historic and ground-breaking moment for the Haggai alumni there. It was also my first visit to Brunei, and I was blessed by the experience.
The nation's serene beauty, marked by its lush greenery and remarkable cleanliness, reminded me of Singapore, but with a much gentler pace of life and far less of the urban sprawl. It felt like a place set apart—an ideal environment for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

There were 18 participants most of the young adults. They were attentive and participative in the discussions and I could see they were impacted by what was being shared.
I was specially impressed by the Anglican Bishop Andy who was the catalyst behind this seminar. His was very kind and hospitable. His "down to earth" attitude and humble posture was very impactful.
I met many good christians who treated me to the local dishes in the city. It was also a joy to work with Ps Siew Ling and Ps Jacinta, two stalwarts of the Haggai Malaysia team. Also had the opportunity to meet a Haggai alumni, Bro Jay who was kind enough to being us for a good lunch,
Reflecting my last few days in Brunei, at an altitude of 33,000 ft on board SIA, I thank the Lord for this opportunity to be part of the seminar and also to meet great people who love the Lord sincerely.
