Devotion: Luke 9:51-55 - Facing Rejection

As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them ?” But Jesus turned and rebuked them. Then he and his disciples went to another village. The Lord rebuked me while meditating on this passage. KNOW YOUR PURPOSE Jesus was very clear about His purpose in life. He kept to the script for His life. He knew that His purpose for coming to the earth was to be crucified for the sins of the world outside the city walls of Jerusalem. Hence He purposed to go to Jerusalem. He also knew the time for the purpose to be fulfilled... as the time approached . In fact he was resolute about His purpose. He very well knew that death was waiting for Him at Jerusa

Prayer - Why its the key

"Poverty-stricken as the Church is today in many things, she is most stricken here, in the place of praver. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere." Leonard Ravenhill.

Trip to East Nepal and Jaijon, 4-9 Apr

Thank you for all your prayers. On 5 Apr we visited the Bhutanese Refugee camp in East Nepal. I was appalled to see the destruction caused by the fire w hich destroyed more than 200 homes in the camp. More than 5000 Bhutanese refugees live in this camp. Most of the home s are make shift tents with hardly a space to call home. The r efugees live on basic amenities. At about 6.30 PM we conducted a meeting in which more than 300 people attended in a cramped room with intermittent electricity. We used torch lights as I shared the gospel message. Many people accepted Christ. We distributed some relief aid and coordinated with some local pastors to do the follow-up. At the Bhutan border, we conducted one day seminar on Evangelism and Leadership and on 7 Apr we witnessed the graduation of 13 new students who will be going out as church planters. Praise God. God is doing an amazing work.W e need to flow in the move of God. Don't be left behind. Team included: Pst K Steven Babu Isaac Sis E

Trip to Jaijon 4-9 Apr 11

Tomorrow I leave for the Bhutan Border. After I came back from the last trip I have been working continuously and my body is tired but my spirit is pressing me on. 13 church planters will be graduating and moving out into the difficult ares in Bhutan and North East India. On the way we will be diverting to East Nepal. Last week a fire broke out in one of the Bhutanese refugee camps in East Nepal and destroyed more than 500 homes. More than 200 Christians were also affected. My pastor has managed to raise some money to help these victims and we are also using this opportunity to share the gospel in the refugee camp. Please uphold our team in prayer. Prayer against the spiritual forces in high places. By God's help I have started another training center at the southern end of Andhra Pradesh. This is our 5th training center, all engaged in training church planters. My heart is over whelmed. "Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God" - B
