Christmas Program at the Leprosy Home

We extend our heartfelt thanks to you in the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ for the generous love and support you have shown to the poorest and most forgotten members of society. Through your compassion and giving, the Christmas season became a time of true joy and hope for residents of the Leprosy Home—many of whom have been abandoned and ostracised by their own families.

People affected by leprosy often face deep social stigma. Many are rejected by loved ones, isolated from society, and left without emotional or material support. This loneliness is often more painful than the disease itself.

Bishop Thomas and his family regularly serve in this Leprosy Home, bringing not only practical help but also dignity, care, and the message of God’s unfailing love.

The Christmas program was conducted with great care and compassion. The residents gathered together and experienced a celebration filled with warmth and fellowship.

The program included:

Sharing of food and a special Christmas meal

  • Distribution of gifts, made possible through sponsor support
  • Sharing of the Gospel, reminding them that they are precious in God’s sight
  • Prayer and personal interaction by our pastors and ministry team

For many residents, this was one of the few times they felt remembered, valued, and loved.

The happiness we witnessed on their faces and the joy that filled their hearts as they received the gifts were truly beyond words. Tears of gratitude, smiles, and heartfelt prayers testified to how deeply this outreach touched their lives.

Through this program, the love of Christ was not only spoken but demonstrated in a powerful and tangible way.

Bishop Thomas and his family are doing a truly fantastic and sacrificial work.

They regularly minister to people whom society has forgotten, offering:

  • Compassionate pastoral care
  • Consistent prayer and encouragement
  • Practical help and spiritual guidance

Their faithfulness reflects the heart of Christ for the rejected and the broken.

We sincerely thank our sponsors, especially Aunty Sheela Malcolm who made this Christmas outreach possible. Your prayers, generous giving, and faithful support enabled us to share food, gifts, and the Gospel with these dear people.

By remembering them and sharing with them, you brought true joy and hope during these holy days of Christmas.

We thank God for each one of you who partnered with us in this ministry. Your kindness has made an eternal impact on lives that are often overlooked.

May the Lord richly bless you and your entire family. May His peace, joy, and favour abound in all that you do, and may you continue to be a channel of His love to many more lives.

Blessed New Year to you and you family
